During times of distress resulting from natural disaster or pandemics, the need for organizations to come together to communicate effectively, cooperate openly, collaborate immediately, and coordinate effectively are key to saving lives and allocating limited or strained resources efficiently. We work with government agencies, local public health departments, politicians, and many other profit or nonprofit organizations to respond quickly and effectively.

Prevention

To prevent future pandemics similar to the Covid-19 outbreak that resulted in over 705 million infections and over 7.01 million deaths globally, we constantly look to help our local communities plan and prepare for state of emergencies while educating everyone about what to expect if and when disaster strikes.

Activating our nationwide network of local teams and volunteers during these distressed times, allows us to quickly get protective gear, medical supplies, and humanitarian aid to first responders, local hospitals, and other public entities, who risk their lives and serve our communities on the front lines.

An effective prevention strategy during a pandemic must also include easy and immediate access to rapid testing nationwide.

Protection

Rapid response and quick action are key to containing the spread and saving lives during a pandemic or after a disaster. Having immediate access to essential emergency supplies and personal protective equipment, including face masks, goggles, hazmat suits, and surgical gloves can mean the difference between life or death.

The donations and the in-kind contributions we receive from our supporters allow us to quickly leverage our global supply chain of distributors and manufacturers to procure and distribute emergency and medical supplies.

Emergency Support for Homeless

Ribbon For Humanity's food distribution program for our homeless community is a dedicated initiative aimed at alleviating hunger among the homeless population in Los Angeles County. Every week, including major holidays, volunteers gather to prepare and deliver nutritious meals and drinks directly to those in need, ensuring access to essential sustenance. The program not only provides immediate relief but also fosters a sense of community and support.
