Welcome, and thank you for visiting our website, operated by Ribbon for Humanity, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Organization”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, online services, content, and programs (collectively, the “Site”). By accessing or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

1. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this Site — including but not limited to images, videos, text, logos, trademarks, graphics, audio, illustrations, and designs — is owned by Ribbon for Humanity or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, download, and print materials from the Site solely for your personal, non-commercial, and educational use, provided that you:

  • Do not modify or alter any content.

  • Retain all copyright and proprietary notices.

  • Do not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

You represent and warrant that your Submissions:

  • Do not infringe on the rights of any third party.

  • Are lawful, non-defamatory, and non-obscene.

  • Grant us the rights necessary to use them as described above.

4. Donations, Contributions & Program Participation

All donations made to Ribbon for Humanity are voluntary and are used to support our charitable programs and initiatives. While we make every effort to use funds as described in our mission and campaigns, we reserve the right to reallocate contributions to areas of greatest need in alignment with our charitable purposes.

Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us immediately at amecl@brucebrownfilms.com, and we will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

We do not guarantee outcomes from participation in any program, event, or initiative offered through the Site.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THIS SITE, ITS CONTENT, PROGRAMS, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED IS COMPLETE OR ACCURATE.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIBBON FOR HUMANITY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, PARTICIPATION IN PROGRAMS, OR RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF ANY DONATION OR PAYMENT MADE BY YOU, IF APPLICABLE.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ribbon for Humanity, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, partners, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms.

  • Your use of the Site or participation in programs.

  • Your violation of any third-party rights.

8. Arbitration & Dispute Resolution

You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules.

  • The arbitration will take place in Los Angeles County, California.

  • You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

  • Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles. If arbitration is deemed unenforceable, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice, for any violation of these Terms. Sections concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution shall survive termination.

11. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
