New projections by the Washington University’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) predict that 179,000 Americans will die from COVID-19 by October 1, 2020. We can’t let down our guard. We must continue to socially distance, wash our hands frequently, and above all continue to wear masks to stop the spread.
