With Malaysia’s Top Glove, one of the world’s largest surgical glove manufacturers, forced to shut down due to a COVID-19 outbreak at its factory, the world is experiencing a sudden supply shortage that has resulted in a rush by traders to buy up any supply of nitrile gloves available in the market. While prices keep going up for gloves, we anticipate prices to ease again by March or April 2021.
