Pfizer announced that it is on track to release the COVID-19 vaccine it is co-developing with the German company BioNTech for emergency use by end of the year. In an open letter published by the Chairman and CEO on the company’s website (click here), they explain that the company’s priority must be on safety, transparency to the pubic, and qualify control. As a result of this announcement the company’s stock (PFE) continued it upswing in pre-market trading after closing at 37.95 on October 16, 2020.
