Prime Minister Boris Johnson warned today that the U.K. was on track to reach 50,000+ Covid-19 infections per day if drastic measures were not taken to mitigate the spread.

The U.K. and Continental Europe have seen infections rates increase exponentially resulting in a second wave of infections after summer vacationers returned from holidays.
