Day 178

Today our team reached out to the various City Managers for the main communities affected by the Bobcat and El Dorado wildfires burning in Southern California: Arcadia, Sierra Madre, Monrovia, Redlands, Yucaipa.

Most of the disaster relief and emergency aid is being coordinated by the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (National VOAD). The National VOAD is a forum where organizations share knowledge and resources throughout the disaster cycle - preparation, response and recovery - to help disaster survivors and their communities.

To learn more visit their site by clicking here or visit the NVOAD website directly.

The National VOAD 4C strategy is key to managing disasters efficiently
