According to a spokesperson of the governor’s office, medical teams have been dispatched to Los Angeles County by the U.S. military under supervision of FEMA to support the local medical staff at both LA-USC and Harbor-UCLA medical centers.

With Covid-wards at full capacity due the exponential increase in infections in Los Angeles County, the local medical personnel has been exhausted and needs urgent support.
